Widsten Property Management Inc. is a family-owned, full-service property management & strata management company that provides services tailored to homeowners, strata corporations and manages a variety of rental properties across Ladysmith and Nanaimo. Feeling as though their current website was too tenant-focused and didn’t fully reflect the services they provide to their landlord and strata clients, their team reached out to Array for help designing a new website that would appeal to all their target audiences simultaneously and better reflect the personality of their family business.

How Did We Help Them Out?
- To bring their brand out of its shell and establish better connections with their visitors, we refined their content with a warm, more down-to-earth brand voice that better matched the personalities of their team.
- To simplify the application process for potential renters, an “apply now” button is available on every page of the website to guide users seamlessly through the rental application process.
- We revamped the information architecture of their website to better balance out their services amongst their target audiences, creating individual portals for strata organizations, homeowners & investors, and people looking for rental listings in their neighbourhood.
- The Rental Listings page features multiple layouts and can be dynamically filtered using AJAX, allowing listings and Google map markers to be updated without needing to refresh the page. For mobile, we focused on an app-like feel for the navigation to give users the ability to easily scroll through listings and positioned all action buttons to the top-right to provide a more satisfying experience.
